Marina to Mission: Highlights from LinkedIn Talent Connect & Learnit

As the conference season draws to a close, I’ve been reflecting on some truly inspiring experiences, especially my recent opportunity to speak at LinkedIn Talent Connect. Talking about talent mobility in a stunning waterfront Southern California setting, surrounded by passionate L&D peers, was a highlight. The event was flawlessly organized, and a special thanks goes to Sonya Bessalel and the incredible behind-the-scenes team. Also, a big shout-out to my co-panelist Vilma Cuevas of Nuvance Health, who shared fantastic insights and recommendations, especially for the health industry, and to our wonderful host LinkedIn's Liam Walsh for guiding the session.

I’m equally grateful for the Learnit session hosted by Damon Lembi, where we explored human-centered leadership in the age of AI. With an amazing panel including Stacey Solorio from Karius, Angela Stopper from UC Berkeley, and Minden Beach from Informatica, the discussion was a perfect reminder of how quickly technology evolves and how we can keep our leadership grounded in human values.
